quick question, has anyone seen this bag in real life already? I assume it comes, according to celine.com in two leather versions. (find pics attached). Anyone know how much this bag will cost, in euros?
is it nice?

So, I´m reviving this thread because I´d like to hear your experiences - does anyone here have the Trotteur?

Have you any comments on the leather variations? Sure, natural calfskin has this luxurious look but drummed won't scratch that easily. I´ve hear bad reviews of drummed so I´m pretty reserved towards it. Taupe looks beautiful and more modern but burgundy & natural calfskin are both really classic. I assume it doesn´t come in navy? That could be beautiful too. Or khaki!

I love the Trotteur. I have owned both the older model and the updated model with the front clasp.

The reason they redesigned the old model is because it was lined in suede and lost structure incredibly easy.

A delayed thank you to you Sophie! That is helpful to know why they changed the design. I have put it off for now as I just bought a preowned small cabas phantom - a little more work-friendly for me. But still have my eyes on one in the future potentially!

I own this bag in black and have used it almost daily since I got it new-its a wonderful bag that now has a lovely patina and is still a favourite of mine. I personally dont like the updated version with clasp. I love the simplicity of this design.
I'd buy another on a heartbeat
