Trollbead Mermaid - Question??

Hi all. I bought a mermaid trollbead online but when it arrived it hasn't much detail on the fin. I contacted the seller and they informed me its one of the original early trollbead mermaids which didn't have any detail. I am skeptical and hoping somebody here can reassure me I didn't buy a dud!

It is probably true...I have a little fairy from the early days that has very little detail. Other versions have a lot. I think they just use the molds until the molds finally quit.

Also, in the early days a lot of the TB weren't stamped either, so that's a whole other kettle of fish to contend with...it's too much pressure for me, so I just stick to authorized dealers or people I know only buy from dealers. LOL...

Any chance you have a Trollbead retailer near that you could take it to? I did this with a Pandora charm I had purchased online, I wanted them to check it out so i coudl be sure it was authentic.
