Trio Pouch Mono Keep or Return?

I was able to purchase the Trio Pouch in mono and would like to know any pros or cons about it. Debating if I should return or keep.
I don't think I would ever use all three with the strap, seems cumbersome. But is it worth the $1390 + tax to keep and use separately?
All pieces are made in France and the zippier pulls seem nice..

I have loved the trio pouch since I first saw it because it’s a cute little set - however, I never bought it because even at the release price (I think it was $1250?) IMO it was too pricey for what it is. I’ll always admire it from afar, but for $1400 I would much rather have a bag. Keep in mind the Speedy 25 is $40 cheaper than those three pouches and strap.

Is it your only SLG in your collection? Or do you have others? I find myself using mini pochette, toiletry 15, key pouch much more than I would use three nearly-flat pouches, they are more versatile and would be about the same price.

I also don’t believe all phones fit nicely in the largest trio pouch, and if it does could you fit much more than that? Do you have a Neverfull pouch? If so you’ve already got a wristlet option.

For me it's a no. It is overpriced when you consider each piece individually. If the large pouch had clips either side to attach a crossbody strap then I'd probably buy as I would feel like I was getting a bag too. I also feel the square pouch is somewhat pointless and not very useful. BUUUUUT definitely keep if you like it and will get use from it.

Thank you for your reply! Like you, I had reasons not to buy the Trio Pouch for a long while.
Ordered and then started to second guess my decision.
I do have a lot of SLGs and several Neverfulls.
I have thought about the price for it vs another bag. My phone does not fit into the largest trio pouch
Maybe I need to return and save the money towards my whole house generator that should be installed soon. :)

I bought the cosmetic bag GM and did convert it so I could use as a crossbody.
Versatility I guess is the key!

My guess is return it. Since you are asking on here that means you aren't super excited about them and not just :heart:loving:heart: them. $1390 is a lot to spend on little purse pouches that you don't absolutely love. You could spend $50 and buy some cute, decent, well made little purse pouches.

After getting the trio pouch, I wasn't that in love with it. I thought maybe I was missing something and it was better than what I thought. Many have bought it and seem to love it! Not too often I buy and then decide against the item..

I decided not to keep it and initiated the return to send it back.
Thanks for all the comments, they helped me with my decision.
