Trim II Update

Read the posts on the Trim II and have been informed by the staff of five H European stores that the Trim II has been retired for the foreseeable future.
The Trim I will still be produced.
Does anyone know why the Trim II is retired and not the Trim I and does it just apply to H stores in Europe?
In any case, the five stores I was in had no Trim II in stock and had not even ordered the Trim I.
Has anyone seen any Trim II's here in the US?

Well I have read numerous times over the past year here in the H sub that the Trim was being discontinued. If you do a search you can probably find those posts. I don't recall any boutique sightings for quite a long while.

It is interesting that you've been told that the Trim I (without the gusset) will still be produced though. First time I've heard that. Curious to see whether that's true.

Some have speculated that the Trim II looked too much like a Gucci bag and wasn't selling. Perhaps Hermes thinks that a return to the more-distinctive Trim I design will better reflect the true heritage of the bag?
