Tribtoos - Size and Comfort?

I thought I was going to stop at YSL bags, but I tried on a pair of Tribute mid-heel sandals while killing time the other day and was amazed by how wonderful they look AND feel. The Size 38 fit me like a glove and I'm on the hunt for my perfect pair, but now I'm also wondering about the Tribtoos, which I'd probably wear more often (the store didn't have them). Are the Tribtoos as comfortable as the Tributes, and how does the sizing compare? Should I go a half-size up for the closed toe Tribtoo? FYI, I'm usually an 8 or 8 1/2 in closed-toe shoes, and I'm a perfect size 8 in closed-toe Stuart Weitzman shoes.

I got my tribtoos in the same size I wear us. So my US size is a 7.5 and I got the 37.5. The pitch and toe box are comfortable but the ball of my foot kills so i put in dr scholls gel pads for the ball of your foot area.

I had to go a full size up in those I own a turquoise pair with a wooden heel and love them, they are super comfortable and I wear them in the summer time. I just bought a pair of Tributoo this past Christmas and had to go up 2 sizes so I would suggest going and trying them on first before ordering, for me it was the toe area that I had to go up the size. Good luck

So your Tribtoos are two sizes larger than your Tributes? Wow, that's a huge difference . . .

IMO , Tribtoo fit either TTS or half size larger for bigger sizes 41-42
And TTS or half size smaller for small sizes.
My CL is 41.5 or sometimes 42. But in YSL all my tribtoo both suede and patent (captoe styles) are sizes 42.

I'm about to order some Tribtoos from ysl.com and was wondering if anyone has noticed any comfort or sizing differences between the "old" Yves Saint Laurent Tribtoos and the "new" Saint Laurent Tribute Twos? I spoke to a YSL representative and she indicated that there are some minor changes, such as the heel cap and the color of the shoe interior (beige for the "old" and black for the "new"). I am a CL 36.5, US 6, and expect to purchase a 36. Thank you!
