Has anyone bought the "second generation" Tribecas if you will....the peony and the white? I was thinking of getting the Peony as it is less kapow pink than the Pink Tribeca. However, I am concerned about the issues reported with peeling. Do we know if the peeling issues are resolved in this Version 2 release? And if you have a Tribeca from the first release, did you have issues and have to return/repair?

I have the White Tribeca. I have only had it a week but so far I have no issues with it.

I don't have the patent version (Op Art in khaki/brown) but I have heard of a couple of the TPFers returning Tribecas because of cracking/peeling.

I have a gold patent from the first wave of Tribecas... and so far, so good. No cracking, peeling, etc. There was a little excess sealant that peeled off the one area, but it was only the excess part (there's still an even layer of sealant around the top of the bag, and it's shown no further signs of this kind of thing). I say go for it! I've worn it a lot (everyday bag) since I purchased it, and have enjoyed it very much.
