Trendy Chain Twisting

I just purchased the small trendy, but I noticed that mine has twisted chains.

I understand that the base of the chain isn’t fixed, so it will rotate, but there is so much tension in the strap that I can’t untwist it so that it lays flat against my shoulder.

Anyone else with a trendy have this issue? I can upload a photo later.

I’ve had my question answered. The design of the chain strap is different from what I’m used to. Thank you!
