Treesje leather care?

Hey ladies! I lurk on this subforum a lot, but don't really post much. I may be getting my hands on my first Treesje soon, and wanted to be ready to treat it when it arrives. We get a lot of rain and drizzle here all winter, and I want to be sure my bag is ready for it.

For bordeaux leather, is it already glazed/treated? Should it be weatherproofed, or is it ok? And generally what needs to be done to care for it? I didn't find any information on Treesje's website.

^ Yes, it has a glaze on it. I have the oceano leather which is the same. This leather is pretty tough and can take a beating but if you want to be safe you can spray it with Apple Guarde Rain & Stain repellent.

Thanks much! I'll give it a spray just to make sure this nasty weather doesn't damage it.

Has yours softened up a lot? This is my first Treesje - my experienced with glazed leathers so far has been limited to Botkier, and though they seem to take a while to soften up, they eventually do and are quite nice.
