I bought a gorgeous black Treesje in Boston about five years ago for about $600 MSRP, and I have found that the hardware has completely fallen off of the bag. EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF GOLD HARDWARE has just fallen right off. The bag is still REALLY pretty, thank goodness, because the bag looks fantastic without hardware. But I just want you guys to be aware that if you buy a Treesje bag and you buy it because you love the hardware on it, the hardware might just fall off :-/
The upside is, Treesje bags sans hardware are really beautiful. Which begs the question: do bag makers make bags that they are sure will be beautiful even if the hardware falls off?
Thinking about having a necklace made out of the suicidal hardware LOL
