Hi ladies! I am new here and this is my first post!! Yay! So I received a Large Hamilton Traveler in Black in December from my mom and I brought it with me on my trip to Kuwait and Saudi that same month. Huge mistake! It doesn't really hold a lot of stuff and the leather scratches so easily. *sobs* I was wondering if anyone else has this purse and has travelled with it? Or any tips in general? I'm thinking of selling it and getting a Large Selma! What do you think? Thanks so much! :)

I also got this bag in black last year. Mine is holding up great, however, it is a soft leather, so you have to be careful with it. I don't baby mine but I'm definitely more cautious with it. I love my Traveler and it is the one in my collection that I would never sell. I've owned the e/w and n/s hamiltons and sold both because there were things about the bags that didn't work for me. I love the way they look on others.

For traveling, I prefer to use my saffiano leather bags so there is less worry. I also have the large Selma. You may prefer it. I consider it a perfect bag. After years of use, they continue to look new.....[emoji7]

The vitelo leather on the Hamilton Traveler (+ Colette) is pretty soft. I would not suggest using it for travel. Saffiano leather is great for travel, but I usually go for less structured bags when I'm traveling for pleasure so tend towards my soft leather Mirandas for that. For business travel, I'd definitely go with saffiano leather, though.

I love mine too! And I did my best to baby it when it was travelling but i still got a pretty bad scratch on the front. I bought the conditioner from MK and it helped a little bit to fade it. What do you use?

Wow the Miranda is gorgeous! What can you fit in it? I think I will get another selma! I have the Selma medium messenger and I love it because I dont have to baby it! It's definitely taken a few bumps here and there and I didn't have to worry about it! 😅

I have this bag in black but I would never travel with it. For travels, saffiano leather or canvas is best. I actually use Longchamp nylon bags when I travel. They are light and can handle rainy days.

The Miranda tote is a Michael Kors Collection bag, so the leather is top notch. Even though it's soft leather, it's still not prone to scratching. I carry the large, which is humongous (good for travel). For every day, it may be too big for an average height/size person. I'm tall so it works really well for me.

Selmas are also great. I use them as my every day bags (large size). But I find they aren't big enough for travel. When I travel I like a bigger bag than that.
