Has anyone found a solution to travelling with H CDC bracelets as well as smaller items like earrings? My travel pouch does that has the earring compartment and a ring strap does not fit the bigger bracelets. A bigger pouch that would fit the bracelets does not have compartments to separate the earrings and necklaces. I am wondering if anyone has a fairly compact solution. I do not want to travel with a hard sided box for all of this.

Same for any jewellery selection that has statement/fashion and fine/dainty pieces. Statement pieces need to be wrapped individually and dainty stuff in a travel jewel case or roll.

My Gallop wallet GM is pretty good at transporting jewellery whilst traveling. My jeweller friend uses a generic 'bum bag' but H has the Cityslide which would be perfect for sightseeing too.

H's historical solutions were Sac Mallettes or a jewellery boxes inside K35s. Jewellery problems haven't changed.

If solutions move away from H solutions (as in in-House) I may move this thread to the general Jewellery Forum since it's more a jewellery specific question rather than an H one.

Yes, if you are travelling with a trunk any of these solutions will work. I travel with one carry one and I need one case/pouch but somehow big is enough for CDC yet has compartments/pockets for earrings.

Trunk? No one in their right mind would put jewellery in a trunk/case in the hold.

Cityslide 35sm and can be classed as a belt

My mom prefers to put jewelry in cheap, zippered, embroidered satin silk jewelry pouches with built in divider pockets. They are made in Asia, and she carries multiples. BC they are tasseled & brightly colored, she can spot them among her things.

I like using a Prada synthetic cosmetic case (which expands to hold bulky things) with a zippered inside pocket or a flat toiletry case (divided ) that I got on an airplane. Both are pretty flat when empty. Will update with a pic. A jewelry roll is too bulky.

If you want an H solution perhaps a Karo or Bastia or simply a mini dust bag the size of a bracelet, and some mini plastic baggies (like for pills). Others on TPF have mentioned bringing along Hermes leather change trays for storage at the hotel.

ETA: or a smaller H bag (like a felt TPM Evelyn that you can nestle in larger bags. This would only work for bulky sturdy items that won’t fall out.

ETA: @OnlyModa, flat airplane case for thinner pieces or if you wanted to store your CDC flat. I cannot find my Prada case, but here are some that would accommodate a bulky bracelet. These are more narrow but also more sturdy than mine, like they cannot squish down as much

I don’t need the solution itself to be Hermes. The reason why I am posting here is because the CDC bracelets are specifically sizing me out of any other compact solution I have.
I would love to see pictures of what you’re using!

I was joking about the trunk. To clarify, I’m looking for a solution to put the jewelry inside my suitcase or bag while in transit and to store at the accommodation at arrival, not to carry them around when I am already at the destination.

I've only travelled with one CDC at a time, sometimes the full silver version, and that's very heavy. I use the brown satin pouch it came in. As it is fully rigid, I can use it to protect some of my other less valuable jewellery in small ziplocks which I then stash inside the CDC. This really minimises the packing space used. The pouch is then packed inside the brim of whatever hats I am bringing along.
Fine jewellery is carried separately in my cabin bag with my other H bags.
Safe travels!

Since the troublesome pieces are the CdCs, and they do fit in your larger pouch, can you find smaller pouches to carry the separate stuff and then put them in with the CdCs? Is there not enough room to do that? I like to use the small brown pouches that some H jewelry comes with and then put them in a zippered pouch in my carry on. If I’m planning to use a larger piece on the trip I’ll often wear it because frankly it’s easier to deal with that way. My preference for traveling is to make it as simple as possible, no checked bags, no fussy clothing, nothing I have to spend much time worrying about. If it’s too complicated it stays home.

Since it sounds like you're limited to a carryon (and I don't want to assume your gender and/or clothing preferences), but what about putting the CDCs in your bras? Then maybe keep the earrings and necklaces in their own soft pouch/ziplock bags, and tuck them in the "middle" of the CDC. You could also put the CDCs in a small dustbag/soft pouch, and they can be contained and hopefully preserve the shape of the bras.
Sorry if this seems like such a random solution . I often have to resort to "creative" solutions when I'm trying to travel light.

I got incredibly confused wondering how on earth things would fit in a bra while you're wearing it... More coffee needed! 😂🙈

I have a few cotton pouches of varying sizes that I keep jewellery and scarves in for travelling. The little pouches that scarf rings cone in are super handy as well.

I saw a great tip on Insta yesterday actually- thread your necklaces through a straw so they don't get tangled!

I buy the small zip loc bags that jewelry stores use to put earrings and smaller pieces of jewelry in, then throw them in the larger pounch.
