To clarify I was talking about the claims / customer service staff all ground staff are universally inept in my experience but Air France / Singapore Airlines customer service really goes that extra mile in finding bags and speeding up claims. I was 100% compensated for my bugaboo, suitcase, clothes, makeup everything when the stagg broke out stroller and bag and lost the luggage in both directions. There were no arguments attempts or at reducing the value of things it was all new for old and please don't hesitate go and replace that, we're sorry etc. They even paid for a temporary stroller (maclaren) while we waited 6 weeks for the out of stock bugaboo to arrive and hgave us all 15000 ff points. That didn't happen with BA or ryanair who tried to deny anything was missing, never apologised and then only paid for the weight of the goods and then depreciated that! IMO its good having that fallback when you are travelling, that safety net. Best
