Hello all! Need some advice. I am traveling to Vegas in November to meet up with a friend of mine. She is definitely a purse girl (Hermès, Dior, etc). I have a few luxury handbags and I’m not sure which one to take. I have a Channel Classic flap (Black), LV favorite, Speedy 30, Dior tote, and a LV Cluny BB. Which one would take?

guaranteed she will bringing her Hermès lol, I mean...who wouldn’t? And we will be doing shows and probably shopping (for her). She’s incredibly kind and doesn’t look down on me for not having as much money, but I would also like to not look like a “poor relation”. Thanks for any advice!!!

Take your Speedy. It holds enough, is fashionable and dependable. I go to Nevada several times a year, once took my Chanel black caviar medium flap, that was a mistake- strap came loose from chain. Not learning a lesson, another time I took my Chanel red flap, turn lock came off, lost a little screw. Since those experiences, I always carry a Speedy, no malfunctions ever!

I think cross body is a good idea for security. You may be walking in crowds if you're on the strip and there are some shady individuals there.

Whenever I go on the strip, I carry a crossbody. I secons sdkitty: there are a lot of shady people on the strip. A crossbody will make it a lot harder to grab your purse.

I mostly use my Eva when traveling including Las Vegas many times. Crossbody is so convenient.
The speedy 30 is bigger than what I would want to carry around there all day. You could bring more than one bag. I was there last month and used my Rebecca Minkoff MAM ( about the size of speedy 30) for traveling to the airport & back but brought & used my Eva the rest of the time & a cheapo belt bag for a concert. Small bags are easy to pack.

I'd take the Chanel - it's Vegas... it's a time to dress a bit different than at home and wear those items you don't use regularly. It'd be great for shows and evening. Maybe a smaller crossbody for day and the Chanel for everything else.

So true! Vegas is definitely a place to be extra. And the Chanel classic flap is a crossbody too, sooooo it can satisfy all accounts.
