My friend sent me this article, knowing I love designer purses:

http://www.xojane.com/clothes/dirtbag-style-why-i-rip-trash-deface-and-write-purses-cost-me-big-bucks

Basically she threw her Bal City in a washing machine twice and sewed on a patch. Also sprayed "FAKE" on her LV multicolore (funny thing is- I know she meant to be ironic but I do think hers is really fake. Lol.) And more...

I am not sure what I think about it- I have seen some cool mods (esp for LV monogram line) and am considering my friend (who is an AMAZING graffiti artist) do something on my LV Neverfull, which I don't carry mostly bc I got so tired of running into people w/ same purses... so while I am not crazy about her mods, I get the idea...

(I still hope she doesn't touch her Kelly tho, if that one is genuine...)

Would you do something like that to one of your purses? Have you?

I think I share the love/hate thing myself. She made her bags her own. I can relate to this. Rock on! :afrocool: I spray painted a bag before. I took the bow off my daydreamer juicy couture bag. I hand painted on a cross body bag I have with sharpies. I have always hated perfection finally something I can relate too. Thank for the post.
