Saw it last night-not terrible, but sooooo long!

It's getting panned on Rotten Tomatoes. 17% as I type. Even the "fresh" ratings are pretty luke warm.

I was underwhelmed & at some pt I fell asleep. It was too long.
I was so disappointed because the previews looked so good, especially w/ the dragon transformer. I think I still hate pt 2 more than this one.

I think it was so long cause its Michaels Bay's last one, another director is takingthe helm of the series next.

It was long, and the father daughter segments got a bit cheesy/annoying, BUT if you love transformers, the transformations, and the parts involving the actual Transformers was fantastic!!

Your summary seems to be the exact way my hubby felt! He thought there needed to be more transformers and less Mark Wahlberg dialogue.

Tell him the next one appears to be setting up to take place on the Autobots/Decepticons planet!!!! So we may get our wish of more Transformers!

It's 5 yrs later after the War of Chicago, and it starts with the new family.

I thought it was pretty good! I was unsure when I found out it was 3 hours but it was worth it!
