Trading in gifted Louis Vuitton

Hello. My mother in law gave me two Louis Vuittons as gifts. They are smaller bags and not the type that I typically carry. I'd like to trade them or sell them and get one that I'll actually use. The issue is that these are my first Louis Vuittons and I'm not too knowledgeable on them. The other issue is that I know they are real, and I know you all could authenticate them, but what is the best way to go about this? I dont have authenticity paperwork or anything.

I gather you do not have a close relationship with you MIL? On one hand, I do understand wanting one bag that works for you, but on another level, I personally, would just accept the gift graciously and keep the gifts.
