Tough bag to wear with my parka?

I recently got this Arc’teryx Patera in crimson and love it, but I’m really struggling with what bag to wear with it. I want something black that can handle rain and snow, and go from work to weekend. It should be medium to large-sized and be a crossbody or a shoulder bag with a decent shoulder drop to accommodate the coat. I want to keep the price under $750 (but could spend a little more for the perfect thing), and am thinking something luxe and pre-loved, but am open to other ideas. My favorite brands are Celine and The Row.

Love the coat! For sturdiness, suggest the following: Prada nylon shoulder bag, which range in price from €550-900. A less costly alternative would be a Longchamp Le Pliage, which comes in various sizes. Wouldn’t consider Celine to be a sturdy bag that can withstand the elements. No experience with The Row.
Good luck in your search.

Bottega Veneta large Veneta? It's a big hobo and should fit, is luxe and and as close as I can get to a Row/Celine aesthetic at a good price point. I love the Veneta because new it's quite pricey, but at resale it drops enormously (I know I would not love this if I bought new!).
I used to have one and it held everything and was really tough although I didn't carry it in heavy snow.

Tods used to make some nice nylon bags. I don't see any on their website now but if you're open to preloved you could get one for a reasonable price.

this one is a cross body from TRR. They have other styles in nylon too

My current snow and thunder bag is the Saint Laurent Niki and it fulfills all your criteria bar the price limit, but SL usually gets discounted come this time so you could get closer to that. It does have a logo but it kind of blends in.

Pasdedeux1, thank you very much for the recommendation! I looked at this bag previously and love how it looks, but hadn’t thought of it for this purpose.

Doni, I love your SL! The chain straps may not be as versatile as I’d like (for me, anyway), but the leather looks terrific! Is it patent? So much patent looks like shiny plastic. This is much better.

It is not patent, they call it vintage aged leather or something like that... I don’t know, definitely treated and great with rain, you literally don’t care what falls on it. I am also not a chain person and much prefer leather straps. But I got this for the purposes of wearing mostly with my shiny Moncler puffer on terrible weather days (not an ocasional occurrence where I am...) and I have used it more than I thought as it is very practical and so easy. Packs a ton too.

I love the Veneta but even with the large I think you'd want more strap drop.

Doni, it sounds like you found the perfect bag for your heavy winter coat—I bet your shiny Moncler puffer and Niki bag look fantastic together. It sounds very urban and edgy, and I kind of wish I thought of it myself :). It gives me inspiration, but the look of my coat is more casual/outdoorsy, so I’m thinking the chains really won’t work. I’d love to find something in a distressed or treated leather, though . . .Hmmm . . .

What about the Balenciaga Bazar in XS or S size? They both come with a strap.
More casual. Very underrated bag (but the Olsen twins wear it, just saying).
