I purchased the tote 34 with oxblood handles. I'm trying to reposition some of the tassels because if I hand carry it the fringe drags on the ground. Does anyone know the type of knot Coach uses to tie on tassels/fringe? It's the same type of knot they use on all their bags with fringe, but couldn't figure it out.

Hi! I don't know for sure but I did take a closer look at the bag yesterday as I was planning to purchase it assuming I could get the current promotional discount, which I was not able to do. So, I passed. However, I did inspect the bag closely because I had intended to remove some of the tassels, particularly those in the front that hang down so low. It looked like they would be easily removable. I'm not sure what kind of knot it was but it looked like something that would have been easy to recreate. Sorry I can't be of more help.

They said said it was excluded because it was part of the fall campaign, to which I replied, but it's been displayed here for weeks. I left empty handed. I plan to call CS directly to see.
The sequin pieces are also part of fall & only out a week in stores & no problem there. I try to give my local stores a chance but now I know to just go with online or CS.
yes i purchased it a the event but it wasn't discounted. I got it yesterday and the girls in the Coach store and I tried retying the fringe on the side of the bag but could not recreate the same knot. I don't think the knot matters that much but was trying to recreate the way they had the tassels tied on. I do love it and it looks better without the tassels hanging in front and back like they have it IMO.
Thanks. I was finally told that the reason this particular bag is excluded is because it was shown as part of the runway collection. I'm debating still getting it because I did really love it. If I do. I'll post if I determine anything around the knots because I'll definitely be removing some of the fringe. Enjoy it!
Google it! When the Legacy bags were re-released with the tassels I wanted to move them to a different area. I couldn't figure out how it was tied so I googled it and found videos on you tube as to how to tie them.....by Coach SA's.
Yes I did google it and saw the videos. It’s tied differently on the legacy bags. No big deal. I will re-tie them so they are all the same
