So I've been shopping preloved Totally pm's and noticing some with round metal hoops where the straps attach. The new ones on LV.com are square, which i don't like as much. Does anyone know the scoop? Are round knock offs? Older models?

Hi TifanyBlue23, the metal hoops where changed from round to square a few years ago.
And the zipper pull had been changed too.

Yes, the round ones with the solid zipper pull are the original model. The new square ones were introduced due to issues with the straps tearing with the round ones.
I knew you pursebloggers would know! Thank you. And was the interior D ring "bonus" maybe added at the time they went square?
Yap, the D ring was added and one interior large flat pocket as well according to the LV website.
My old model doesn't have both
