So often the elastic around the heel can dig in and hurt or be our friend and help hold out heel in. BUT! I just bought a pair of Revas without the elastic. I haven't worn them yet cuz the 10.5's that I bought feel like they might stretch and the my heel might slip out. I'm going to try the 10's today. What do you think, is the elastic good or bad?

Mine are SPRING DUNE/GOLD

I was just looking at Tory Burch (dot) com when I noticed that the classic black with gold or silver medallion Revas are available with or without the elastic around the heel. For me the elastic has never been an issue. For me the elastic helped compensate for any size issues. Any thoughts?

Oh wow i didnt notice that. Thats a beautiful dune color. I think without the elastic is good sometimes but when your used to the elastic it might feel weird. Hope everything works out for you.

I never thought the elastic was uncomfortable....just my experience. But I like the new look also. It dresses the flat up some IMO. Yours are gorgeous, I just love the color.

No issues with the elastic here a few wears and they are very comfortable.

The new look without elastic is great, may be I try a pair in the future.
