Hope someone will answer you. I hope we see some pics of this line posted soon. I like the slouchy satchel a lot online.
I didn't try but the handles on the large Frances were larger than Robinson (at least the square tote) and smaller than the Amanda Hobo. Somewere in between. I only put it up to the crook of my elbow. I believe it would have gone over my shoulder had I tried. I just didn't try as that isn't really how I carry my bags - especially with the longer strap.
I would also love to know if you can comfortably fit the handles over your shoulder. This is a beautiful bag!!
It goes over my shoulder but not as easily as the Amanda. I do not really carry bags that way.
it is not all that heavy but the leather is substantial. I carry a lot in my bags so maybe I am just used to a bag being heavier

Found pink frances slouchy today at winners, I love it! I've played with LV soft Lockit before but cannot afford. Love the matte antique gold hardware. Colour is richer irl, looks washed out in my pics. Such a pretty pink [emoji7]
My husband just got me the Frances Satchel and I am still on the fence. My biggest pet peeve with my Amanda was it didn't hold it's shape. I really love the Frances, but it looks like it will start slouching in the bottom. I really need something with the crossbody strap AND top handles long enough to go over my shoulders, and this is all I could find.

So far so good - I do not baby my bags but do not treat them poorly either I have the French grey and the colorblock ivory/black/bark and love them both.

I used my Amanda almost every day for about 2 years, so I guess it has a good excuse to look pretty worn in. I was very careful with it but I carry a lot of stuff (by a lot of stuff meaning my Robinson envelope wallet, phone, usually an umbrella, and a few misc. girly items) and it just couldn't hold the weight. I started using the crossbody strap more often than not because it was so heavy which made the sagging worse.
