TORN! Nutmeg Paraty or Whisky Marcie Satchel???

question... are paraty's really soft slouchy irl? they look stiff on pics. i'm also not quite fond of the top bunching up when carried.

i would go for the marcie - i'm trying to find a whiskey marcie myself...

^LVR has the small w/ shoulder strap. it says 'TAN" on the site, but CS confirmed it is actually whiskey/brick red.

personally i like the Marcie bec right now i'm schlepping for a casual/chic bag. So I vote marcie with the shoulder strap

I have a nutmeg paraty (large) and its divine! Can be carried by hand, crook of your arm, on the shoulder and crossbody. I use it when I travel and I see envious looks all the time .

On another note, I am planning my next purchase and I'm thinking of a Marcie (large again).

So, either way, you cant go wrong. Both are very lovely. Congrats in advance!

If you want to stick to just one, I would go with the Nutmeg Paraty (I have the Nutmeg and it is one of my favorite bags hand down), although the sm/med Marcie in Whiskey is gorgeous, too. Marcie and Paraty are my favorite styles, but if I could live with only one, it would be Paraty for its ease, comfort on the shoulder, and classic look. It's so unique, nothing else looks like it.

If you do go with the Marcie, it also comes in a color called "Tan," which is more of a British Tan color and is a gorgeous option - a little lighter than Whiskey and less Brick/reddish in color. I think I last saw the Tan in the sm/med satchel at Neiman Marcus, although it not available on NM online.

Either way you can't go wrong, but my vote went for Nutmeg Paraty.
