I wanted to get one of the calf leather rivet dakotahs, but I am torn as to which one to shoot for. Either the:
a) Saddle with periwinkle studs: my only concern on this bag is wear on the rivets. Are they painted, anodize, or what? If I get a slight nick on them will it be the end of the world? I really dig the saddle color with the pop of blue,
or
b) Periwinkle with nickel studs: my only concern with this one is the lightness of the periwinkle. Will color transfer be a problem (from clothing to bag) be a problem?

Halp!! I can't make up my mind!!!:search:

The Periwinkle isn't very light IMO. It is a rich, beautiful, saturated color. I don't think color transfer will be a problem. I love the nickel hardware with the periwinkle.

I have no idea about how the color was put on the rivets for the saddle one but I would try to find out. They had those neon keychains earlier this year that chipped easily.

Hi. I just purchased the Periwinkle rivets Dakotah. I have been carrying her for a week now and I love her. I missed out on the light blue whiplash dakotah.

I have received many compliments on this bag. I wore it into a handbag store. The salesperson asked me who designed my bag. I replied Coach. She told me she thought it was a Burberry bag.
