Hello there ladies and theydies!
I have been on the prowl for a new handbag and I’ve really become stuck on what to buy.
For my own personal taste, I am a massive Balenciaga fan and the classic city checks mostly every box for me in needs for a handbag. The city just doesn’t preserve as great as I would like it to and I do already have 6 city bags as well. Another brand I adore carrying is Céline. I have one Mini Luggage and one Trapeze in the small size. I really admire the quality and craftsmanship of Phoebe Philo era Céline bags.
Overall I really admire something sort of understated, as I tend to stay away from LV because of the constant monogram (although I have one vernis bag and have considered a few epi bags). I also really love the way a top handle bag feels when I carry it, and size isn’t huge for me as I don’t usually carry too much but I like to have that option which is why I tend to stay in the medium size hand bag range. I have considered the Givenchy Antigona but the design is just a bit boring for me, as the luggage and city both have very clear aesthetics to them that I have fallen in love with. I love bags in color. I also am usually pretty okay with baby-ing my bags as I know my Bal bags will catch wear and fading quick if I’m not careful, but I’m okay with it because of how great and “me” it feels carrying it. I also usually buy pre-loved and am trying to look for something under $1,000 US. Is there any handbags that come to your mind based off of this criteria? Am I mistaken about the Antigona? Let me know what you ladies think as I’m always ready to find the next obsession in my collection.
