Too redundant to own both toiletry 15 & mini pochette?

Hi all! Does anyone own both? Ive owned my mini pochette for ages and use it often. I recently bought a pre loved toiletry 15. Both are monogram. I try to keep a pretty minimal collection as too many things sitting unused overwhelm me. Will I regret returning the toiletry 15 since it’s discontinued? Or just too redundant to own both? I should add I also have a prada nylon pouch smaller than my mini pochette that I use all the time and a Celine solo pouch that I rarely use.

I have both and use them differently. The 15 has square corners so I use it in my Neverfull or other larger bags. I use the mini pochette in my Bumbag, my favorite or smaller bags because it's more "smooshy" if that makes sense. The 15 is a little more structured. I would definitely keep the 15 if it's in good condition since you may not be about to find it again!

Keep the TP15. It works really well inside of big bags, you can store cosmetics in one and small electronics in the other.

The mini pochette you can wear on its own with a long chain.

I wish I owned a TP15, I got the TP26 in 2018 before it was discontinued. Now it travels with me. :biggrin:

I would keep the 15. I had the 15 and sold it because I also have the mini pochette. I regret it so much! I prefer the 15 because the chain on the mini pochette gets in the way when it's used inside my bags. Plus, the lining inside the 15 is more forgiving if you carry makeup.

Thank you all! Leaning towards keeping as it’s in near perfect condition. I think I might kick myself if I return it down the road

I feel the exact same!

I bought a toiletry 15 in May of 2021(?) when I originally was looking for a mini pochette in store. I so happy I went with it because I love my toiletry 15 and have gotten so much use out it!

I have since had many opportunities to purchase a mini pochette (people say they are hard to come by? but I keep coming across them in stores lol) and keep walking away because it feels redundant to have both.

I only have the MP in empriente monogram but I can’t bring myself to use that as a catch all in my purses. Which brings to me to wanting to purchase a toiletry 15 or cosmetic case. I think you should keep both!

Lone dissenter maybe, but yes I do think it's redundant to have both. I tried out the MP and feel that it's almost absolutely perfect, but I'm one of the rare people who hate the chain on it. I wish it was detachable, since I only use it inside of other bags. I don't like the sound it makes, and don't like it getting in the way of my things. So that led me to purchase the Toiletry 15, and while I love the wipeable interior, I don't like that it's super structured and has the pointy corners. It just doesn't fit as well inside of my bags. I think between your MP and Prada nylon pouch, the Toiletry wouldn't add any additional functionality to your every day life.

You have a great point! I completely forgot about how those pointy corners made fitting into smaller/medium bags a little more difficult. I still wish I had mine, but this makes me feel a little better about getting rid of it.

I have both and use them a little differently. I do not put cosmetics in the mini pochette because of the lining. It would be more difficult to remove makeup from the canvas vs the wipeable lining in the tp15. I use my tp 15 every day since it sits on my counter and holds daily makeup essentials. I use the mini pochette as a catch all during travel or on the weekends for my larger bags.
