You can definitely wear those to work. I work in a pretty conservative environment, and I wouldn't hesitate to wear those. Go for it!

The only caveat is you will want to watch wearing any rough fabric on pants when you wear them because that can rub some of the scales. Also, leave them at home on days it will rain or snow. Otherwise, these are great classics you could wear often.

Ditto here! And do not forget to buy something to moisturize them and keep them clean. They will last for years!!

I wear metallic hot pink Simples and leopard haircalf peep-toes to my conservative office, so my judgment is probably off . That said -- no, they're not too gaudy for work.
