Toiletry 26 is now $1,080?

The Toiletry 26 is now $1,080? I know the sides are black leather now, but WHAT? WHAT? Would you buy at this price tag?

I'm glad I got mine in 2018 before the pandemic, even if I haven't used it at all because I couldn't travel. Now everything I own is a keeper. This inflation has gone through the roof!!!

Yes, it’s definitely a turn off! Another example: My Twist MM went up $1,100 in over a year lol

I will never buy it for that price. It's overpriced. I'd rather buy a bag from another brand than that one.

Absolutely not. I have the TP26 original model and I think I paid somewhere around £200 for it.

Just saw them at $1295 on TRR. I have the 12 and 19 and love them, so glad I bought when I did!

I got mine from the store in August 2021 for $580. It is not worth it to me to pay $500 more for the extra leather sides

I paid 40 or 60 GBP in the 80s for mine. I ended up having the zipper and tab replaced as they were getting gummy after using it at the gym. They did all that here in the US and the now it says made in the USA. I haven't used it since. That was 15 years ago. It looks brand spanking new. I guess I should pull it out and use it.

Absolutely. Now I want to use mine as well. Put a short chain on and use it as a catchall, little handbag.

I have the TPs in all sizes, and I'm quite happy with what I paid for back in the day. The new TP is just way overpriced.

In fact, come to think of it I had my TP26 in DE, a special limited edition with vachetta trims to celebrate LV’s centenary, kitted out with new lining… and the total price of the pouch and the repair was about a quarter of what they’re now charging for the standard Monogram version. Insanity.

Hi everyone. I am a new member to this forum community but not new to LV. I paid $510 CDN for my Toiletry Pouch 26 just before the pandemic started. In my humble opinion it is exactly that a toiletry pouch. Not a bag and not worth $2K. I started buying LV 20 years ago and I'm shocked at the current prices of everything.

i luckily paid around $120-$140 each for all three sizes. I originally paid around $70-$75 for the 15, but that was stolen from my car along with a saumur 30, vernis business card holder and a lot of other items i was very upset over for about a week. this was during the height of the pandemic and i remembered the sage words of Kourtney K, "There are people dying".
