I have had a few MK items. I sold a few and looking to get a few new ones. I have had leather and suede. I would really like to hear how the canvas and Saffiano leather items hold up over time. My leather wallet I used everyday for a year and still looked new. I also tend to not be rough on my items. Thoughts please?

I have two lv canvas wallets that I have had for a couple of yrs and still looking really good. I love the canvas wallets. To me it's easy to clean if needed.

all my saffiano hamiltons have taken years of wear and look good, however my pebbled luggage totes have not fared so well. over the past year I have found myself drawn to more sturdier leathers life saffiano,croc stamped, etc

Do u use any kind of spray protector on ur Hamilton's?

I have a saffiano continental wallet with zipper. Used it for almost a year and it holds up well. No problem with the saffianoleather at all it still looks and feels new. But the hardware(zipper and some letters) are starting to peel slightly at some places. But its barely noticable if you dont inspect it close.
Had the black saffiano jet set tote and used it daily for 6 months, it were still in new condition when i sold it. The saffianoleather, every seam and hardware held up very well. Keep in mind i live in sweden with lots of rainy days;)
Tho i would inspect every seam. I bought the saffiano ipad mini clutch and the seams came loose at the ends after using for 2 weeks. Returned that one. Such a shame cause it was very pretty and loved using it. MK saffiano is very durable and feels nice.

I just bought the mk saffiano selma and so far like the saffiano. I as well live in a area with lots of rain but I haven't put Anything on it yet to protect it from rain. But It feels like it may not need anything

I bought some spray but have not used it. Macy's told me the bags are already pretreated but the MK store says no the bags are not treated yet.

yep same thing SA at my store told me, but they may just say that in order for you to purchase the MK leather care products, LOL my SA would always push those on me

That's what I was thinking to. I originally had the soft leather hamilton and bought the spray and I heard two diff things so I called Mk customer relations and they told me not to use it on the soft leather cuz It could do something to the leather.
