It was love (lust?) at first sight when I laid my eyes on Louis Vuitton Insolite Monogram Fleuri. I love the vast expense flower print when you opened up the wallet. Without a second thought I bought it.

Well, after using just a couple of times, I stored it away carefully. For some reason, I find that I tend to be very careful using the wallet because I find the 2-side pretty flimsy - I don't even baby my Vernis wallet that much! Also, despite the number of compartments the wallet has, I find that I have to use a separate coin pouch because I find it a chore to dig coins out of the insolite wallet. And I also have to be very, very careful 'opening' the wallet to get to my credit cards as they have spilled out before.

I bought an Elsie Monogram Fleuri which I used it most of time. And occasionally, I switch with my Vernis French wallet for special occasions. Initially, I thought I could keep the insolite wallet for travel purposes where I have to bring along more cards and passport along but I really doubt I would do so after the 'credit card spillage incident'. And......I have a new fuschia Bottega zippy wallet (I cannot resist *PINK*) which I find it more secured to use for travel purposes.

I am wondering whether I should sell my Insolite Monogram Fleur? I am hesitant because it is one of the oh-my-God-I-got-to get-that wallet when I first laid my eyes on the wallet. And although it is unlikely I would use it, it still gives me a pleasant buzz when I look at it similar to 'first-love'. But it is so wasteful to have an expensive wallet which is not used lying around and I am so afraid that I would regret after selling this wallet even though I still have an Elsie wallet from the Fleuri series.

I know it is silly to be so attached to a wallet but for some strange reason, this wallet is special to me. But I am also thinking that if I sell the wallet, it could go towards paying for a new LV bag the later part of the year.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, THERE IS NO BUYING OR SELLING ON THIS FORUM !

It sounds more like there is an issue with the cc slots though. maybe you can go to LV and show them your dilemma. Ask to try another of the same wallet at the store and see if indeed it is a defective wallet? Or maybe try to double up on the cc in one slot... but then again, with frequent use and time, you will expand the slots.

Honestly, you really like the wallet, I wouldn't consider selling it until I have tried all the options.

Good luck!

It is a beautiful wallet, my biggest concern would be staining the lining =/ You just bought it so I would hang on to it for a few more months and see how you feel then, If you still have not used it it might be time to sell it!

I would sell it if you have been having problems with the CC spilling. What use is a wallet if the contents are not secure? Get a bag instead that you love -- there will always be an LV item that will make your heart pound. Something that'll be useful to you as well.

Some have had many problems with insolite. I have the first batch and have had no problems and love it. So tell LV they know of problem

i have the mono insolite wallet and have the same problem with the cc slots :( sorry i can't be more helpful!

I didnt know that so many had problems with the CC slots. Are the problems from the slots being stretched after use or are they already loose to begin with?

The Insolite is so lovely, its on my list to buy

To the OP---if you think it will continue to bother you then I think you should sell it. Spend the money that you get from selling it on something that you will love 100%
