It was love (lust?) at first sight when I laid my eyes on Louis Vuitton Insolite Monogram Fleuri. I love the vast expense flower print when you opened up the wallet. Without a second thought I bought it.
Well, after using just a couple of times, I stored it away carefully. For some reason, I find that I tend to be very careful using the wallet because I find the 2-side pretty flimsy - I don't even baby my Vernis wallet that much! Also, despite the number of compartments the wallet has, I find that I have to use a separate coin pouch because I find it a chore to dig coins out of the insolite wallet. And I also have to be very, very careful 'opening' the wallet to get to my credit cards as they have spilled out before.
I bought an Elsie Monogram Fleuri which I used it most of time. And occasionally, I switch with my Vernis French wallet for special occasions. Initially, I thought I could keep the insolite wallet for travel purposes where I have to bring along more cards and passport along but I really doubt I would do so after the 'credit card spillage incident'. And......I have a new fuschia Bottega zippy wallet (I cannot resist *PINK*) which I find it more secured to use for travel purposes.
I am wondering whether I should sell my Insolite Monogram Fleur? I am hesitant because it is one of the oh-my-God-I-got-to get-that wallet when I first laid my eyes on the wallet. And although it is unlikely I would use it, it still gives me a pleasant buzz when I look at it similar to 'first-love'. But it is so wasteful to have an expensive wallet which is not used lying around and I am so afraid that I would regret after selling this wallet even though I still have an Elsie wallet from the Fleuri series.
I know it is silly to be so attached to a wallet but for some strange reason, this wallet is special to me. But I am also thinking that if I sell the wallet, it could go towards paying for a new LV bag the later part of the year.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, THERE IS NO BUYING OR SELLING ON THIS FORUM !
