To Organize My Jewels

Hello, I want to know who organize their jewels by sizes, colors and styles, separating, ring, earrings and necklaces each in different drawers, I do I grasped and I want it ideas for better the order and than jewels they are conserved well.

I have 2 trays with compartments that are covered with fabric, I got them at Big Lots. They are kind of like the velvet trays but basically there is one long compartment and then 3 smaller ones. I put necklaces and line/chain bracelets in the long part and then cuff/bangle bracelets have their own small one, and the other 2 are earrings (I split my earrings into beaded and other). I put my silver tone jewelry in 1 and gold tone in the other. They can fit in a drawer but I just put them on top of my dresser side by side so my jewelry is in reach. For my brooches I use a hanging jewelry organizer in my closet with clear pockets, each one has its own little pouch.

I have a jeweler that my family has used for decades. I had them come to my home and organize all of my jewelry, including watches for better access and security.

I even purchased a program for my Mac which catalogs all of my jewelry, when it was last worn, which shelf it is located on, price, value, whether it needs to be cleaned or repaired.. The same system also stores information regarding my clothing, shoes and accessories of value.

However, I am probably one of the most organized people that you will ever meet and I tend to do things to the extreme.

Scott, Would love to see a pic of that. I love organization too. I'm very obsessive about this too
