i bought this as a gift for my mom’s upcoming birthday today at nordstrom. I like it because its unique but not sure if its her style. It’s lambskin so it’s also delicate. What are your opinions about it?

I think you answered your question. If you don’t think it’s her style, I’d return. On the flip side, it is a unique gift that she may really love (esp coming from you). But unless you have money to blow, I’d stick with what she likes when it comes to Chanel.

Why don't you give it to your Mom and let her return it if she doesn't like it? I bought my Mom a Chanel bag I was on the fence about and she ended up just loving it -and using it constantly- because it was different from what she usually went for. You did choose this in the first place for some reason--and it's a lovely gift-- so maybe let her decide?

It sounds like you don’t love it yourself. So why give something to your mom unless you absolutely LOVE it too? Get her something that you would want for yourself.
