To fur or not to fur?!

I would only use fur if I didn't know what kind of animal it is. At at Scottish festivals, the men wear purses called Sporrans. These are made of animal fur or leather. I have one made of Leather and one made of Rabbit but you can't really tell what kind of fur it is unless the seller tells you. Yet I've seen very creepy ones with the Animals' head still attached acting as the bag flap!

Thats horrible. I cant see why this is necessary for the sake of fashion!this is my outlook too! Plus, after i saw videos on how fur is obtained it just breaks my heart... they are just skinned and left there still alive.
I dont think bad things about those who wear fur, but i wouldnt buy it just becuse it makes me sad. It makes me think about the fuzzy animal it came from. I guess its not any difernt than leather..but idk i feel a lot sadder about a cute fuzzy animal than a cow lol.
I just bought this faux fur jacket... was looking for something to wear over dresses in winter.
What do you guys think?

I would never fur in a million years!! The only fur I wear is around my neck when my cat sleeps with me.
I guess we were overdue for another fur thread. I agree with LeeMiller. These never end very nicely.
I don't have any fur bags, but definitely won't buy any bags that made from animals because I am an animal lover.
