Hi guys, of late I'm eyeing this model but I can't decide on my own. Is it a yes, no? And why?

TIA!

What attracts you to the Constellation? Is it the technical specs or the looks? If it is the specs, suggest you visit a couple of watch sites for reviews. If it is the looks, IMO this model has a retro late 1960’s-1970’s vibe, in particular the style of band. Not my taste, but if this is what attracts you, the Constellation model could be an option. Good luck deciding!

Omega Constellation is my first luxury watch, back in 2005. It is an all steel, diamond markers, mother of pearl dial with 4 diamonds on the bezel. I love that it is lightweight and thin. If you can get the model you are eyeing at a good price (model is discontinued, new models are ‘chunkier’, not as feminine as the old), then go for it. I still love Omega despite owning other brands

I know close to nothing about luxury watches but it's the look that attracted me over brands like cartier or rolex. Yeah I do agree with you that this has a very retro look esp when this is such a mini size. But on the other hand im picturing someone in her 30s, 40s, or even 60s wearing this and there wouldn't be any issue in terms of looking too young or old (I am hitting 30 soon).

Same qn again: do you find the watch face to be rather small? I understand this is the constellation my choice range, which is mini sized.

After that watch was the 26mm Rolex Datejust and somehow the Constellation looks small. Fast forward, I added two more round dial watches, Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm, followed by Rolex Datejust 31mm. Then a rectangular dial watch, 37mm. The watch sizes went bigger and bigger....due to aging. LOL.

Yes, the mini Constellation (22.5mm) is rather small. I would strongly suggest to find a larger size 25.5mm or 27.5mm.
