To buy new or used

Hi all! I've been eyeing a Zippy Compact Wallet for a long time and Lulugirl has definitely convinced me that it's such an amazing wallet. However, now I'm torn between purchasing it brand new before the price increase or to just wait until I find a good deal on one in eBay. This will be my first LV piece by the way, if that makes a difference. Comments, opinions, or preference?

I have experienced both. I prefer new so much I wish I held off on purchasing my four pre-loved LVs and used it for one new piece. THEN AGAIN I couldn't get used to the new speedy without the "made in" stamp so I'm glad I did buy my speedy pre-loved. I guess it depends on what the item is. For a wallet that will get tossed around anyway, I'd go pre-loved. For a big bag all will see, I'd go brand spanking new!!!
