Title of resume?

  1. Hi everyone!

At this moment I am working on making my resume. Where I live it is normal to put the words 'curriculum vitae' on top of the page as a title. However, when I google for examples, I see that there are lots of cv's where the name is the title. It's for a company in South America. Any recommendations on what I should do?
    Thank you in advance!
  2. I don't really think it makes a difference.

    You could use:

    Curriculum Vitae
    Your Name
    Your Contact Info
  3. Titling your resume a "Curriculum Vitae" is typically reserved for the academic world, where you do a lot of publishing. Unless you have given a number of presentations/speeches or published a number of papers or books in your field, I would not use the CV title.

As for resumes, they do not have "titles." Your name goes on top, in big letters, with your contact information directly below it (address, email, phone number). Then you have your work experience, education, etc. etc.
  4. Thanks!
  5. CV and your name would be sufficient
