I use hairdryier to warm up my eyelash curler. I find that curl on my lashes lasts longer that way.

I have tried endless amounts of lash curlers. Shu Uemera was good, particularly because I have Asian eyes.
Honestly, the best thing I ever did was use Rimmel Lash Extension with Lycra mascara. While my lashes are still wet, I just put my pointer finger underneath and "lift", and my eyelashes curl. I know it sounds kind of crazy, but I get compliments on my eyelashes all the time.
