Does anyone have any tips on remembering to wear and rotate your jewelry collection? Jewelry is the last thing that I put on so I often find myself forgetting to put it in! I also stop wearing jewelry pieces after the novelty of its newness wears off. Maybe jewelry just isn’t for me.

I am not married, so I don’t wear a wedding or engagement ring (if that might mean anything to your advice). I also don’t wear regular earrings because I have my lobes stretched to a little larger than dime size and wear that kind of ear jewelry.

So my jewelry consists of mostly bracelets, rings, and a few necklaces.

Thank you in advance! [emoji177]

I got round this myself by selling anything that wasn’t working for me, so just have a handful of pieces now that I rotate regularly depending on my outfit (and mood, lol). I wear mainly YG but have some WG earrings and rings, so my two main ‘looks’ are a YG one and a WG one.

I tend to rotate mine as I clean them as most of my worn jewelry is worn almost all the time. I also rotate them when I'm forced to take some of it off for work at times. In terms of pieces you wouldn't sleep in, have a small dish or jewelry hanger with a few items out and put it near somewhere you'd pass by in the morning as you're getting ready (I have mine right by my bedroom door but maybe even somewhere in the bathroom might be good) so it's already there in front of you to pick them up.

I only buy jewelry I can shower and sleep in, no forgetting things you don't take off!

I have way too many pieces to wear them all daily. And some gemstones aren't the best for daily wear like my emeralds. And what if I don't want to wear emeralds that day? What If I want to wear my sapphire rings?

I could never commit to the same things each day.

Thank you everyone for the tips! Sleeping in jewelry, even jewelry that is okay to sleep in, is not an option for me as it's uncomfortable. But I am going to try these tips next week. <3

I layout everything I'm going to wear the night before, including my jewelry. I have lots of right-hand rings, necklaces and quite a few watches so I like to make sure everything gets worn.

I pick out my jewelry when I pick out my outfit, because I often try to coordinate my jewelry with my overall look. When I get dressed, the jewelry is right there with my clothing, so I can't forget to put it on.

Interesting! Never thought of this because I don't really take my jewelry off. But I will say, when I'm feeling extremely sad I tend to not wear as much. To get in the spirit and remind myself to wear it I would place my simplest earrings on my dresser so I remember to put them on.

That's so interesting that you mention this! I always take jewelry off because I can't sleep in it. But your reply made me think to when I stopped regularly wearing my jewelry several months ago and it was during a kind of sad and stressful period in my life. Now that I am feeling much better, I feel the urge to wear my jewelry but I just forget or am rushing to get out of the house.

I plan outfits on Sunday and put my jewelry out then. It lets me enjoy my collection because I see it sitting out, works as a countdown to the weekend and keeps me on time getting out the door. Sometimes I will make myself wear all the jewelry in one drawer until it all gets a wear. Keeps me from getting in a rut
