Tips on how to "sandwich" my loose fitting YG Love bracelet?

Hi All,
I was gifted a YG Love on my wedding day by my FIL and unfortunately, the size is 17 which is a tad too large. It is engraved otherwise I would exchange for a size 16. Attached are photos. The movement is starting to bother me so I thought I'd see if I can purchase a couple other Cartier pieces to sort of "sandwich" the larger love in. Does anyone know if a thin pave love would work since the width is a bit thicker? My concern is not so much the scratches but the potential crossing over of the pieces. I'm interested in either the JUC, Clash, Hermes Clic, or the Bulgari Serpenti bracelets to create that "sandwich" stack. TIA for your help!

How long have you worn this love bracelet? My wrist is almost exactly the same size, and I wear a size 17cm (and it fits similar to the way your pictures look). If you had exchanged for a 16cm, that would have been pretty snug with less than 1 cm to breathe  Maybe you'll get use to the movement, I know I did after a few weeks and now it's like the bracelet isn't even there.

Other members might be able to weigh in better on the Hermes Clic, Serpenti, etc. Have you considered another regular size love? I have a 17cm YG regular, and have RG Rainbow love coming in the mail. I went with a regular size, as I'm hard on my jewelry and worried a small love would be too delicate. Stacking another love would take away some of the wiggle room, and there are so many options! Just my 2 cents (BTW your FIL is a sweetheart, mine is crazy cheap and would never get me such a gift!!)

My wrist size at the smallest point is 5.5 inches or 14cm, and I wear a size 16 for my love. However, the distance of space on your arm looks similar to mine. I actually think it looks quite good on you  and gives you space for other bracelets and/or watches in the future.

I remember trying on a size 15, and oh god, that was a very snug fit, all the way to the smallest part of my wrist with only an inch of space for movement. Not for me personally lol :P

But regarding your concern over crossing over of pieces, I agree, that would be my concern as well. Have you tried any on in store?

Btw, agree with @Blingqueen44 lovely gift from your FIL!

To me that is the wrong approach in many ways. First I would wait a few months to see how it feels over time; btw. your Love is not too large.

Second, other items will be problematic to stack. The only working and good looking combo I read here over the years is thin Love + thin JUC. Crossing over of same sized Loves is rare but does occur.

Third, the thin Love Pavé is exactly the same size as the thin Love hence I just love it and have 2 of them. However, just spending so much $$$ to prevent moving a Love seems weird to me.

Sry for not being really polite (as always ) but I'd like to prevent you from making mistakes. Just wait some time and settle down.

Just based on appearances, the 17 looks perfect to me! Have you ever tried a 16? If I were you, I’d go to a Cartier boutique and ask to try a 16, really just so you can see for yourself what that size would look and feel like on your wrist. Then you can hopefully get this size dilemma out of your mind.

Of the bracelets you mentioned, they are all beautiful options. I personally stack my size 17 classic love with a small love, clash , and JUC (not always at the same time…). I wouldn’t jump on stacking so fast though. Enjoy the simplicity of your love and take some time to figure out the best stack.

Also, congrats on your wedding!!

I actually think 17 looks fine on you but you'll know best on the comfort.

15.3cm with a size 16 might be a little too snug (and you'd wish for a half size haha). Hope you'll have a chance to try 16 at store to gauge. Of course also get to try other bracelets to stack to see if you like any of them.

What a great gift! You could get a JUC that’s a size smaller and keep it close to the wrist maybe the nail head would help

My 17 fits like yours and I stacked it with a thin Love with diamonds. The two bracelets do cross over even though they are the same size because they are a loose fit on me. It would probably do the same for you.

It sounds like we are actually the same wrist size and i also have the love in size 17! For a while, I thought size 17 was too large but when i tried on the 16, it would get caught on my wrist bone which bothered me and so I stuck with size 17. It does have a bit more movement than I would like, but I prefer that over a tighter bracelet that gets "stuck".

I still think trying the 16 will make you feel better about the 17. I sometimes feel like my 17 is loose but I know that when I tried the 16 at the boutique it felt too constricting. My ideal would be a 16.5 but since that’s not an option, for me anyway 17 is best.

My small love has crossed over the classic maybe 5 times total in the 3 years I have it. My other bracelets would not be capable of crossing over.
