Tips on cleaning David Yurman cable heart?

I bought a gently used DY cable heart SS necklace with pave diamonds recently from yoogiscloset. It looks great but there is some white residue crusted in the cable detail of the inner heart. It's not that noticeable when worn unless attention is drawn. Any ideas on how I can clean it out? TIA!

My daughter has the kids DY cable heart necklace and i've had to take it off of her because I can't clean out dirt from the cable detail as well

Soft toothbrush and warm soapy water. Dry very well afterwards.

i have david yurman cleaning cloths that i use on all my sterling. perhaps ask the boutique for some. they were free.
