I bought 4 pairs a few months back and haven't worn them out of the house because they hurt my feet. I got the Stingrays and have had these problems: (a) the back elastic digs in causing redness, (b) the front elastic near the medallion digs in, and (c) both side elastics dig in and hurt my feet (my feet are a bit wide). I've tried stretching them with a shoe stretcher but that hasn't helped much. I also tried walking around the house with socks on but again, that was not much help. Please, if anyone has any advice, do share! I would hate to return these because they are so pretty. TIA!!!

I haven't had any problem with the back elastic but, for me, only the front part if the shoe dug in to my feet left feet(I think my left feet is bigger than my right), it hurt so much to the point where it felt like I was losing feeling in my big toe. I put water in a ziplock bag and put it in the front of the shoe and put it in the freezer, but it still kinda felt tight so did the same thing again and now it is comfortable
hope this helps!

Thanks so much! I think I might give that a try.

I've had a couple pairs of flats where the elastic at the back bothered me, and I just cut them out. I don't suggest you do this yourself with Tory Burch since they're a little pricier than my flats, but if you take them to a cobbler, they should be able to loosen the elastic.

If they cut into my heel, I put a bandaid across when it touches my foot. It makes it nonpainful until the elastic stretches enough to be comfortable.

I have the same problem with my left foot, now I have rub marks (discoloration) on my skin. My Stingrays are tighter than my brown ones and they are a 1/2 size larger?

Wow, storing my Revas in the freezer? Sounds, goofy, but if it works.

I size up 1/2 in Revas to prevent the back elastic from hurting.
Then I only wear them in short spurts the first 5-6 times, it made a big difference.

Glad I'm not the only one! I bought two pairs from Saks online a year or two ago during one of the F&F events. They killed just trying them on, so I returned them both. I always wonder when I see people wearing them how they are able to bear them.

hmmm i've never had a problem. i wear my black ones everyday for 8 hours a day. they're as comfy as heck. hahha and mine are close to getting a hole from wearing it so much =(

i think you should size up. revas aren't meant for everyone. they hurt my mom like crazy while they're really comfy for me.

I don't have a problem with the elastic in back, but the front was hurting me and also at the top near the sides. Kind of gross, but my feet tend to sweat which makes the chafing worse so I just put some cooling foot powder in the shoes and it made a really big difference!

For the back elastic pain, maybe you could use the dr scholls heel liner? http://www.drscholls.com/drscholls/productSearch.do?method=doProductDetailsLookup&searchArg=44
I had another pair of flats with an elastic back and the elastic dug in so i just stuck these on and they helped

But do these stay on flats with elastic backs, like Tory Burch's? The kind where the leather and elastic are scrunched up when just sitting there but stretch out once you put them on? I got a pair of Vera Wang flats which are sooooo adorable but I thought I was going to weep from the pain on the Achilles tendons by lunchtime.

the back elastic on my reva's has never bothered me, but the front part used to. I bought some of this stuff that your rub on your feet on places that you might get blisters...I think it's Bandaid blister block..it comes in stick form....it helps alot while you break in new shoes.
