Hi guys. I just bought this bag from mecari from a seller and I absolutely love it... The owner was very upfront and honest about the fact that the bag had some faint watermarks on the back which I was fine with when I purchased, but I was just wondering if you guys had any tips or ideas on how I could either fix or remove the watermarks or make them a little less noticeable. Thanks in advance!

Hmm, those don't even look like watermarks to me -- they look like striations due to how the dye interacted with natural variance in the leather! I have no idea how to fade those, but it's a beautiful bag regardless.

Also, twins on the bag and strap!
I agree. Those don't look like water marks but from the hide of the cow. Some colors seem to have this issue more than others. I know the butterscotch rogue satchel w/ the snake trim had that issue. But most the time I don't think I've seen this - at least on the bags I've received or seen in store.

I wonder if it is the dye itself. I have a butterscotch color bag from Fount and it has the same striation issues. It kind of bothers me but I decided to embrace it on that bag since it makes it look tiger-ish.

I absolutely love the bag and can't wait to wear it this fall. The seller called them water marks but this does make more sense bc the bag is in otherwise pristine condition.

I personally haven't seen this before either and I actually own the butterscotch rogue with the snake trim lol

There were definitely some that had the striation. I ordered one and it had some but wasn't too bad and then I found another one that was perfect so I exchanged it. I know the regular rogue in the butterscotch had that issue, too, on some of them. I haven't seen it in the Nomads as someone said, though.
