I had a play with both the lambskin and the caviar last night and I ended up taking the caviar home with me!!!

i have the lamb and i love it. I think the points about the caviar being better for wear are absolutely on point (which is why i bot my flaps in caviar), but i dont' use my clutch as a casual/daily bag and i love the elegance of the lamb. Either are beautiful - but my preference is the lamb.

I have an Yves Klein Bleu (ultramarine blue) patent python clutch and I love it. It wears beautifully and gives such a bright pop of color when I wear black at nighttime.

I also have a gold lambskin timeless clutch which has held up amazingly well despite being handheld.

But the classic is really black caviar. You can't go wrong with that. By the way, Posh Beckham uses her black caviar clutch all the time, more than any individual Birkin that she owns.
