Hello everyone !

I bought my engagement ring today !

As want to to do it the "classical way" I've got one more question !

- The ring is in a litle "clip clap" black box that I can "open" and "close", do you know what I mean ?
- This litle black box is itself in the well know tiffany green box with a white "ruban" around it

When I make my proposal, I should get rid of the green box discreetly and then get one of my knee down and open the black box myself while saying "do you want to marry me ?" right ?

What's the nice green box purpose then ? For me it's look like a christmass or birthday present...

What's the tradition ?

Thank u very much in advance !

Victor

The green box is when you give it as a gift or present.

I would keep the black box and when you get down on one knee, open it up and say, Will you marry me....

You can give her the green box the next day for her to store the black box in.

Good luck!

Not many jewelers use those dark navy boxes, so when she even sees the dark velvet box she will be freaking out!

What style engagement ring did you decide to get her? You'll have to post pictures of her wearing your ring! I'm sure it is so beautiful!

Hello,

Thank for all your kind answers !

I went for the classical platinium round brillant tiffany setting !

I'll propose her tomorrow and I'll keep you updated !

Thanks again !
