Hello I recently bought a DBY Tiffanys necklace which has a 16in chain. I feel that the chain is a little short for my neck. Does anyone know if Tiffanys can extend the chain slightly (I'm thinking 1-1 1/2 inch only)? Many thanks.

Yup! Had my toggle heart necklace extended a few links when I bought it and am so much happier with it! I don't like 16 inche on me either!
Yes, Tiffany can definitely extend a necklace or a bracelet for you. I've had several necklaces extended. It usually takes about two weeks. In the U.S., the Tiffany store will send the necklace to New York and then will mail it back to you for free. It was roughly about $20 USD.
If I remember correctly the price to extend a gold necklace is $50 per inch or fraction thereof so 1.5 inches will be $100. Don't quote me on the price, my memory is fading. I think the price to extend a platinum chain is $200 per inch.
