Tiffany Yellow Gold Wedding Band Discontinued?

hello all!

I recently reset my engagement ring diamond over to yellow gold and had wanted to get the Classic Tiffany wedding band to pair it with. When I asked to see one (I called it the knife edge band) the SA told me it was discontinued. And I was like ???. How do you discontinue a band that matches your most popular engagement ring?

I find that highly unlikely. Maybe the SA is new? I would ask another SA in the store who has been working there for a while to confirm.

Well- she wasn't spectacularly helpful on most things I asked about. And I thought it seemed highly unlikely as well so I will check again or call the website.

I did call the website this am and the lady I spoke to verified they aren't retiring...just out of stock in many sizes...due back end of Feb. So I just got matched to someone not very helpful in store....too bad. Luckily, I've been there several times and have a couple of other people I can work with. They just weren't there yesterday.

That's ok...it happens. it was pretty clear she "just wasn't that in to me..." I'll shop again some other day (and make sure that one of the two people I get on with is there when I do...)

My end wish was still successful, which was make sure it was available and put it on my wishlist so Mr Bcat knew about it for any upcoming events like anniversaries...
