Tiffany vs. Gucci bracelet.. help me choose!

I'm torn between these bracelets. I normally wear white gold jewelry or no-name sterling silver, but recently I've been wanting to own a bracelet from either Tiffany or Gucci. The choices are linked below. Which one do you like the most? Or do you have any recommendations (from either Gucci or Tiffany only). Also, I want to know if there is a difference in quality whatsoever. Since Tiffany specializes in jewelry and Gucci doesn't I want to know if there's a difference. Thanks.

I really really like the Tiffany blue/green one - it's such a classic piece. However, I know some people have had problems with the lock charms springing open after a while.

The Gucci one is nice, but I think if you're looking for a piece of designer jewellery, and don't mind paying a bit more for your silver, a classic Tiffany piece would be lovely.

Regular or blue T&Co definitely. I just think they look prettier than the others. No idea about the quality comparison however, since I don't know Gucci jewelry.

I think your $$$ would be best "invested" in Tiffany!!! I love the one with the Tiffany blue and have been eyeing som,e of their jewelry lately too!!! I would be interested to know if you can add the Tiffany charms to this bracelet, they have ALOT of REALLY cute ones. It would be something nice to ask for as gifts for b-days etc.

I'm a white metal gal too, my wedding set is white gold and I wear a TON of sterling and costume jewelry. I've got my sights set on a nice Tiffany piece although I haven't decided which yet. I think that it's going to be something that you can build on more. Gucci might have totally different jewelry each season/year where as Tiffany for the most part is going to stay a classic forever and keep turning out classic's!!!

***I've decided that each time I see a no name piece of costume/sterling jewelry that will just sit after I "get over it" I'm going to go home and PUT THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY AWAY. The way I spend, I'll have a nice set of Tiffany jewelry in no time!!! LOL

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I ended up getting the Tiffany with green heart lock. I really liked it, so I thought I'd just get it soldered, but didn't get it done today. Apparently, they have to send it to NY to have it done, so it will take a while before I can actually wear it. I'll just do it later :smile:
