I have quote a bit of tiffany silver and want to get more but I always wonder what will happen to my jewelery and bags yrs down the rd... Is it reasonable to expect my Tiffany silver or yurman etc will last long enough to pass down to my niece or any daughters I may have? Has any passed down pieces like this to theirvkids or inherited any? Some of my face pieces of bling are what my mom gives me when she cleans out get drawer!

I think you can pass them down as heirloom pieces. Tiffany is a classic. Particularly if you choose to buy the classic designs. I feel it is the same way with Yurman. Enjoy your collection.

sure why not! my nanny gave me inexpensive retro pieces from the 70s that are costume from avon! they are not worth anything but they are still meaningful knowing my nanny decided to give them to me and not the other grandkids haha!

Tiffany silver will definitely last for generations. After all, think about all of the antique silverware that is still in existence and people abused those! LOL.........

I plan to pass on my pieces to my daughter-now I just have to work on having one! lol

I only have a son, if I dont have a daughter, im not sure what to do with my pieces-maybe have them sold and give all the money to him...............

Don't be so quick to sell your lovely pieces. 1)You will never get what you paid for them. 2)You do not know what your future may bring, possibly a daughter-in-law or a grand-daughter who might cherish those pieces and it might bring a big smile to your son to see your pieces on them ;)
