I would like to get the tiffany sparklers citrine ring for an engagement ring. The price is great, and I have been married before and had a diamond. It is very dainty as far as the band goes, and I don't how well the gold would hold up. Anyone have a sparkler ring they wear everyday?

It is a soft stone and will get facet abrasions with heavy use. If you do plan to wear it everyday you'll need to be extremely careful not to scratch it or bang it.
I have the citrine sparkler ( gold ) and I wear the ring every day.
In the beginning I was very careful, now it is part of my finger.
The gold has some tiny scratches,but the stone is still in perfekt condition.
I clean the stone once per week with a small brush. No issue until now.
Just when I have to do house cleaning, I don't wear the ring.
I bought the ring 3 years ago, approximately.

I have the green praseolite in silver. I do not wear that ring every day though. I've worn it many times but since it is so large, I have banged it a couple times, no scratches or anything (yet) but I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it every day because of that.
Does the band seem to get thinner with more wear? Does Tiffany back the ring or are they able to fix it if something happens?
If the band got thinner, then it is not visible for me.
With the ring I never had an issue, but I had to give back
the necklace with the citrine, because when I bought the citrine earrings,
the colour does not fit in my opinion and the colour of the earrings was nicer.
They changed the necklace after a year without any complain.
