Hello... I was just wondering if anyone either 1) purchased Tiffany from Jomashop or 2) owns a pair of the silver somerset hoop earrings. I purchased a few pieces of Tiffany silver from Jomashop (hesitantly!) and am still skeptical about their authenticity. I know that T&Co is the only official retailer of their jewelry and Jomashop is a grey market dealer, but I figured I would take a chance as they are fully refundable and people on the forums have said time and time again that their purchases were authentic. This is the first time I've ever purchased T&Co outside of their store - aside from the Estate sale on Bluefly a few weeks back - and I'm a bit paranoid. However, at that price, I figured I'd pick up a few new pieces, what do I really have to lose...
The weight feels right, the earrings pass the "magnet test", the box appears authentic, and the pouch (though one of the felt ones, so I can't compare firsthand) seems to be genuine. However the earrings themselves were in one of those plastic jewelry baggies with a sku number and description on it. Plus, I went to the store and checked out an authentic pair. On the back of the earrings were T&Co 925; however these earrings have (c)T&Co 925. Also, the interlocking hoops on the ones in the store seemed more circular; they seem more oval on this pair. I didn't know if the somerset design changed slightly over the years, or if the stamp with the (c) differed slightly.
Anyway, to make a long story short, i just wondered if anyone owns or is familiar with these earrings and wouldn't mind answering questions I have about them, or if anyone else had experience buying Tiffany's from Jomashop before. I will post pics in the authentication forum by the end of the week - not enough time to do so now; plus i can't seem to capture the details in the photos I'm taking... Thanks in advance! I know that Tiffany's doesn't authenticate... plus I'd be embarrassed to walk in there with a fake, as I do shop there from time to time and don't want to be known as the girl with the fake jewelry the next time I would go in!!!

They do come marked both ways, depending on when they were made. If you want to take a few close-up pics and post them in the "authenticate this jewelry or seller" forum, I'll take a look at them for you, and any of the other Tiffany pieces you bought.

Did you buy them recently at jomashop? I've been dying for those and I'd be willing to take a chance at a great price!

Thank you jpg! I will most likely get a chance to post pics this weekend.

I did just purchase them last week. I actually purchased quite a few things, though half of my orders were cancelled. The collar necklace shipped today, and the wire bracelet (moon, star, dragonfly, butterfly) should be arriving today, so I will take pics of all and hope for the best!

Hi Hotstar,
I have those Somerset hoops. I'm actually wearing them today. :D
Mine are 2 or 3 years old. Each back does have a (c) before T&Co.
I would post pics but when I took them off to look at them I realized they REALLY need to be polished.

Personally I would never buy Tiffany's from anywhere but their stores unless it's a significant discount and in that case I would convince myself that it's probably not real so as not to be disappointed.
