Tiffany silverplated items

I am looking for a nice vintage Tiffany piece for my mum's upcoming birthday, and I noticed that some sellers are selling Tiffany silver plated items, such as a letter opener.
Did Tiffany ever actually produce silver plated items? I haven't seen anything recently sold like this in Tiffany's, though I usually am looking at jewelry and not home goods such as candy dishes and such.

Tiffany did sell silver plated items at one point. They were mainly accessories and ranged from mirrors, letter openers, clocks, desk items etc....Tiffany, as far as I know, does not sell plated items today but you will find vintage plated items.
